I am finally back at work (sad) but now I will have more time to post (ha!).
Lucas had his 100 Day Celebration on Jan. 28th. at Cafe Bizou. I hope everyone that was there had a good time. He was in good spirits that day and enjoyed mingling with everyone 
It was very different from when we had a one month celebration for Brandon and he slept that whole time!

Sorry we haven’t posted anything for a while. The holidays have been so busy! We have had two birthday celebrations with Lucas since the last post.

I hope he likes being our baby and that he likes hanging out with his silly parents and big brother.
Sorry we haven’t written in a while. Lucas is a lot tougher on mommy at night than I remember Brandon being (though Ray thinks I just don’t remember). Been pretty tired most of the time, but it has been great hanging out with my boys. The holidays are so much better when you get to be home in front of the fire and tree often
Even though Lucas gets gassy and cranky quite often, I was able to snag this little gem on my trusty iPhone.
I hope that this phase of tummy troubles and cradle cap pass soon so that Lucas is more comfortable. I want him to be as happy a baby as his big brother!
This was awhile ago because I had not uploaded till now.
Not sure if I should put this on valeray or Brandon’s site. So far he has been wonderful and can’t stop holding and kissing his brother Probably will end up on both sites.

Lucas of course have seen some pediatricians since arriving in this world, but today was his first visit to his pediatrician in Pasadena, who also happens to be Brandon’s.
Lucas is doing well and is at 6lbs, 12oz now (more than a pound heavier than when he was born) and at 19.5″ long. No shots today, much to Brandon’s relief, and no concerns except maybe his gassiness/smelly poops. Dr said he looked good
The doctor told us that she has just seen two Luke’s before getting to Lucas (she says this has never happened before) and were we thinking of calling him that for short. Our response was that we weren’t sure yet, but in my head I was thinking “well we were kinda thinking about it but now I am reconsidering it…. Are these other kids in Lucas’s age range?…..” We will see what he prefers as he gets older.
It’s been two weeks with Lucas and he has been a pleasure to have in our lives. Yes, we are tired because of feedings through the night, but he has been a great sleeper. In fact, I keep sleeping through my feeding alarms because he has been so quiet and allows me to get extra rest.
Lucas is quite a poop-er though and pee-er. We have been through a LOT of diapers in the past two weeks. Unlike Brandon though, he has not peed on us and only up in the air twice this whole time. (Now that I have said that, he will probably pee on us multiple times tonight.)
I will try to update this and Brandon’s blog more in between feedings and playtime with B. Thanks for reading!
